Joe Van Buskirk is an early career researcher and PhD candidate at the University of Sydney (USYD) School of Public Health, with an interest in environmental epidemiology, machine learning and causal inference methods. Before completing the New South Wales Health Biostatistical Officer Training Program, he established and led a monitoring program of illicit online drug marketplaces at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre.
