Zoe Kumbaroff is a PhD student at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. For her PhD, she is developing an individual based contagion model to run on a synthetic contact network of the Auckland population of Aotearoa New Zealand. Her focus is on the role that households play in driving infectious respiratory disease inequities. As well as her studies, Zoe works part-time at The New Zealand Institute for Public Health and Forensic Science, primarily coordinating the acute respiratory illness dashboard updates.
