Richard Martino is an epidemiologist working at the Tasmanian Department of Health and PhD student at the University of Tasmania. After graduating with a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, Richard’s professional research focused on experiences and behaviours of gender and sexual minority groups in the United States. Now in Australia, he conducts analysis and reporting on chronic conditions, health behaviours, and population wellbeing to support health policy. His PhD research centres on air pollution and the possible linkages to educational and neurodevelopmental outcomes in children.
